Who we are

Build Buddy is an everyday AI assistant operated by Wajisinfinity Ltd. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

Account data — email address, name, timezone and use case you provide.
Content you create — chats and messages, journal entries, tasks, reminders and documents you upload.
Connected account content — if you link a service on the Connectors page, only the specific files, messages, events or records you choose to bring into Buddy, held temporarily to answer your request.
Usage data — daily message and search counts, feature usage events and basic device information used to keep the service reliable and secure.
Billing data — subscription tier, status and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.

How we use it

To provide the assistant, save your history, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, process payments, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private content for advertising.

AI processing

Messages you send to Buddy are transmitted to our AI model provider to generate a response. Guest chats are never stored. Signed-in chats are stored in your account so you can return to them, and you can delete any chat at any time.

Google user data (Limited Use disclosure)

If you connect a Google service (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides or BigQuery) to Build Buddy through the Connectors page, Build Buddy's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In plain terms: Google user data is only used to provide the feature you asked for. We do not sell, share or transfer it to third parties (except to process the request you made), we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow it to be used to train generalised AI or machine-learning models. Google account data is only read when you connect the account and explicitly pick a file, thread, event or sheet to bring into Buddy — we never scan your accounts in the background. You can disconnect any account at any time on the Connectors page, and revoking access in your Google security settings removes our access immediately.

Retention

Uploaded documents are automatically removed after 30 days on Buddy, 90 days on Sophia and 180 days on Brainiac. Chats, journal entries, tasks and reminders are kept until you delete them or close your account.

Your rights

Export everything we hold about you in JSON and Markdown, at any time.
Request account deletion. Deletion is permanent after a 48-hour cooling-off period, and can be cancelled at any point within that window.
Correct your profile details, or object to specific processing by contacting us.

Security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with row-level access rules, so your records are only readable by your account. Access to administrative tooling is restricted and logged.

Children

Build Buddy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
