Agreement

By creating an account or using Build Buddy you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old. Repeated failed sign-ins temporarily lock an account for 15 minutes to protect it.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative content.
  • No attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
  • No automated scraping or resale of Buddy's output as a competing assistant.
  • Requests are limited to 60 per minute per account.

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, with notice where practical.

AI output

Buddy can be wrong. Output is provided for general assistance only and is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice. Always verify anything important.

Plans and billing

Buddy is free. Sophia and Brainiac are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Failed payments enter a 7-day grace period before the plan reverts to free.

Refunds

Because plan limits are consumed daily, payments are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong, contact us within 14 days and we will look at it fairly.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create in Build Buddy. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it back to you.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion becomes permanent 48 hours after the request and removes your content irreversibly.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
